A Versatile Material for a Sustainable Future

WoodTalks Shiplap Close Up

WoodTalks Shiplap Floor
Shiplap is the most versatile material in the sustainable future! It may be used for flooring, stairs, paneling, wainscoting, cabinets, armoires and ceiling treatments!
The Douglas Fir Shiplap is remilled from 2"x6" and 2"x8" flat stacked grain elevator walls. These grain elevators from Washington state were typically built in the 1920's. Because this ¾" thick flooring is milled from 2" stock leaving the original patina on one side and the resawn fresh side on the other, the material is reversible. You can use either side for your application. It makes for fantastic reclaimed wood flooring. The ease of install is greatly facilitated by the nature of Shiplap.
Chocolate acacia wood slabs and hand- hewn beams will soon be available too!
Our ECO Supply collaboration makes it possible for more people to enjoy and learn about these incredible materials that we reclaim from Hawaii to Washington to Ohio.
We've also developed a system to sustainably move the materials across country with coordinated delivery systems.
